In the time since I finished my whole 30, I've become addicted (quite possibly literally) to sugar again: Jumbo chocolate bars, arepas, queso y bocadillo, fruit.... No fruit itself isn't unhealthy, but as a crutch it is. If you can't sleep because you're craving something sweet and you eat fruit, only to find that you then can't sleep because you're on a sugar high, there's a problem.
This time around I'm going to be stricter - no pretend pancakes, no fruit except in emergency situations (ie, stuck outside the house and the alternative is being hangry or eating grain based foods), only one cup of coffee a day, reasonable portion sizes in reasonable proportions, no eating late at night.
So, let's go!
Breakfast: green tea, carrot latkes (egg whites only - the yolks were for the) homemade mayonnaise, and leftover grilled chicken.
Snack: black tea with lemon, 2 squares of cocoa (no, not chocolate).
Lunch: pulled pork (2 portions), mayo, lettuce wraps, coca tea.
Dinner: huevos pericos (3), mayo, lettuce wraps. Pink tea.
Post tkd: It's really difficult not to munch! However I settled for a lot of water, and a cup of cocoa with a spoonful of desiccated coconut in it. It was nice!
I really must go to sleep now...
